U.S WW2 Field Canteen 1942 ‘VOLLRATH'

Here we offer an original US Military Field Canteen with the original cup and canvas cover from WW2 produced by the VOLLRATH Mfg.Co.  The canteen is made of black enamel finish over an aluminum body and has a screw-on black plastic cap attached with a chain to the canteen. The bottom is marked U.S. Vollrath 1942. The canvas cover has two pull snaps and hooks in the back. Black enameld canteens are said to usually be Marine types although we cannot specifically prove that.
