Very nice early Willys MB Slat Grill from our own collection.
Produced in January 1942, this Jeep is one of the very first models ever made, making it a special piece of history.
It has a serial number of 1150xx and features the correct early Willys chassis + early chassis tag(not a replica).
The engine number is from a later period but still has the W2 casting.
The body number, 136xx, indicates that this body was built around the beginning of January 1942, perfectly matching the chassis.
• Chassis: 1150xx
• Body: 136xx
Many original parts are still present in this Jeep. The engine, transfer case, gearbox, and axles have all been carefully overhauled and are in excellent condition, so it runs perfectly.
Even the hood numbers and the number at the rear, in blue, were made using original WW2 factory paint, resulting in an amazing and authentic finish.
Nice early canvas added for the roof.
We drove it during the 80 Years Ardennes event in Bastogne for 5 days straight (350 km) without any issues. Afterwards, we performed a thorough maintenance check, ensuring the Jeep is ready for many more years to come.
It comes with Dutch paperwork and a license plate, can export around the world.
This Jeep has been completely rebuilt and is in perfect condition.
We’ve included some photos of the restoration to showcase the work done.
Be aware, this jeep is a higher price range.
