Willys MB Jeep , September 1944 Production
A very nice and largely original Willys MB, produced in September 1944.
This Jeep is an older restoration but remains in good running condition. Some minor body repairs were carried out during her life. The left and right floor plates have been replaced, but the body retains approximately 95% of its original wartime metal.
Right front fender is marked with a F(Ford) but would say the fender is a replica.
In other words, a well-matching wartime Willys MB.
The engine is fitted with a post-war Solex carburettor, providing slightly better fuel efficiency.
An electric fuel pump has replaced the original mechanical one for improved reliability.
Converted to a 12-volt system, ensuring easy starting and driving
Brakes: the right front brake makes a slight noise and could benefit from a simple cleaning.
Comes with American import papers and European documentation to make registration and gain a license plate.
