After 3 years driving around in Normandy, this Dodge wc51 is back for sale!
The owner decided to drive smaller(jeep) and sell his lovely Dodge weaponcarrier 51.
The Dodge was stored dry and often driven in Normandy, France.
This Dodge specificly was used post war by the Norwegian Army.
Chassis is from around 5 april 1944 with chassis number 81702xxx.
The engine is marked T215.
The body is a early type, with a metal cargo body.
Some Norwegian futures are still visable.
The engine was taken apart 3 years ago with valve replacement and a new headgasket, sinds the maintenance the Engine runs very smooth and always starts.
The Dodge has a 6v system, but feels like a 12v system, quick enginestarter and fireup.
Tires are still Norwegian profile, but we can assist with finnding the original World war 2 profile.
Comes with complete canvas, back cover, cargobed cover, driver+co-driver cover + doors.
