Very nice and original U.S. Cushman Model 53 Airborne Motorcycle, used by American airborne troops such as the famous 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions during Operation Market Garden in September 1944 and Operation Varsity in 1945.
The Cushman Model 53 Airborne Motorcycle was specially designed for American paratroopers during World War II. Lightweight and compact, it could be dropped by parachute or transported in gliders, making it ideal for operations like Market Garden (1944) and Varsity (1945). Its rugged design, reliability, and historical significance make it a prized collectible today.
This Cushman is made in September 1940,is in good running condition but is an older restoration with very nice patina.
It comes with Dutch registration papers but does not include a license plate.
