U.S Dodge wc52 Jan 1943 8160xxx

Very nice Dodge wc52 for sale, made in Januari 1943 and used post war in the Norwegian army.

This Dodge was restored approximately 10 years ago and has been stored dry ever since.
During the restoration, the complete body was sandblasted and all mechanical components were rebuilt, including the engine and gearbox.
It features an original early-style rear cargo bed made of steel, instead of the later-war wooden variant.

• Original T214 engine with a 6V system, very quick starter.
• Original body and metalwork
• No rust and body is all hard.

The engine runs very smoothly, it drives excellently, and is ready to go.

The previous owner replaced the exhaust and routed it to the rear. This is a common modification, as the original exhaust position (under the right driver’s side) often caused fumes to be blown into the cabin.

The Dodge comes with complete canvas , Cargo bed roof, drivers roof, and front and rear cargo bed doors.
The Cargo bed canvas have been camouflaged during a point in her life, see attached pictures.

Points to improve:

• Rear right side back corner of the cargobed is repainted(see pictures), could be a little bit nicer.
• Exhaust is incorrect, better with the exhaust flumes in the back but not original.
• Replace the filler cap of the fuel tank, seems to be a post war variant?

Comes with EU papers for a licenseplate and invoice of sale.
