Ford GPW Jeep with British Markings

This Ford GPW, formerly used by the British Army, features British markings and hood number.
It’s an older restoration but remains a very presentable and solid example of a WWII Willys Jeep.
- Body: Original wartime ACM2 body, correct for its production year, the hood/bonnet is a postwar variant.
- Engine: Wartime Willys MB engine, casting W4, runs smoothly.
- Chassis: Retains its original chassis number, starting with GPW-200xxx
- Dashboard: Fitted with older replica data plates.

Comes complete with a winter canvas set, including roof and full door set to fully enclose the compartment during winter.
Front triangle is included, the triangle alone is a expensive item.
The following work was recently carried out by us:
- Complete new electrical wiring harness installed
- Full overhaul of the brake system, new brake pistons, new master brakecilinder, complete new brakelines. The brake system need fine tuning in the next couple of km’ers driving.
- Entire exhaust line replaced.
- New carburetor installed.
- Installed a original voltage regulator
- Installed a new fuel pump
- Engine valves adjusted, and engine oil replaced.
- Complete ignition system replaced and adjusted to run smooth and correctly.
- New ignition coil installed (6V system)
- New Starter installed
- Clutch release bearing replaced with a new (N.O.S.) unit
- Complete new clutch plus a complete new Clutch pressure group
- 5 new tires installed.
- 2 New propellershafts
