U.S WW1 Pocket type Compass ‘Wittnauer’
Out of stock
Here we have a U.S. WW1 Army Pocket type Compass. World War I compasses resembled modified pocket watches reason being for this phenomenon is that most of the compasses in use by the U. S. Army during that era were manufactured by watch companies. Examples of such compasses are the Waltham Watch Company and Cruchon & Emons of London and the Plan Ltd of Neuchatel Switzerland. This particular version was made by the “Wittnauer” company. Compass is in used but good conditin and still works.
Nice and not often seen U.S WW1 pocket type Compass!
