German WW2 Pioneers Saw ‘Marke Steigo 1938’

Here we have an early (1938) dated original German WW2 Pioneers Saw, made by ‘Marke-Steigo‘ in 1938. Leather sheath is made by ‘Bottcher & Renner‘ 1937. Overall in very good condition, small part of the left wooden handle is chipped but not distracting. Metal is not rusted or damaged, saw is still very sharp! Nice acceptance mark (Waffenampt) on the reverse of the leather sheath, loop tab for the bayonet could well have been repaired at some time.
