German WW2 Field Canteen ‘HRE 1945’

Here we have a very late war so called “Afrika Korps” canteen made by HRE in 1945! Seeing as the Afrika Korps was no longer fighting in Africa in 1945 it should simply be called a Sudfront (Italy) or Late war canteen. Nicely conditioned,complete with cup and without damage this canteen is a lovely example of late-war production. Still has its mixed coloured “tropical” straps.
