U.S WW2 Fighting Knife ‘EGW’ pattern
SOLD
Out of stock
Here we have what most probably is an EGW (EG Waterman Co New York) made WW2 made Fighting knife. These well made EGW knives were not officially produced for the U.S forces but more for commercial stores across the U.S during the war. Many however did see combat in the European and Pacific theaters based on photo evidence.
Handle is made of leather and has an oval guard and butt roughly the same size. Comes with leather scabbard, not sure if period or postwar.
Nice commercially made WW2 fighting knife rated at good++
