U.S WW2 Asiatic Pacific campaign medal

Here we have an Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, this was established by President Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Executive Order 9265 dated 6 November 1942, and subsequently amended by President Harry S. Truman’s Executive Order 9706 dated 15 March 1946, to be awarded to members of the Armed Forces who served in the Asiatic-Pacific theater between 7 December 1941 and 2 March 1946. 2x Stars denotes that the wearer fought in at least two battles.
