Here we have a U.S WW1 heavy lensatic compass, with largely intact olive drab paint. The back is marked to the “U.S.E.D” (U.S. Engineers Department), designated as the Creagh-Osborne Marching Compass, Mark VII, Model E, manufactured by the ‘Sperry Gyroscope Company’ of Brooklyn, New York. The interior disk turns freely and is used but good condition.
