Here we have a nice original German WW2 Heer M35 re-issue helmet. Maker is probably SE and is a size 66-68. Liner size is 58.
Looking closer we see that the leather chin strap has been repaired, whether it is a wartime or post-war repeir is not known. Original colour of the helmet is apple green with the re-issue paint easily seen above it. Decal rates at 85% with clear eagle in view. Lot number is 277, unfortunately the factory number is not visable due to the re-issue paint. Name of one of the previous owners is present although rather faint and we cannot make it out clearly.
Certainly combat used, what we refer to as a “been there” helmet.
