Soviet WW2 Ssh40 Helmet
Out of stock
The SSh-40 was most commonly seen in-service helmet used by the Soviet Union during World War II. Rivet placement of the SSh-40 was due to a newly introduced liner, simpler and more sturdy than the previous versions.
Here we have a lovely looking and complete Soviet Ssh40 helmet, maker marked 1942. All components are in good condition and all original to the helmet itself. Helmet has had some dirt on top or has been stored badly, thankfully the small amount of light corrosion on top has not damaged the metal and is still smooth to the touch. Straps are original to the helmet, many varients have been noted in the wartime from canvas types to leather.
Nice and rare Ssh40!
