Very very nice and one of the most original MG42’s ive studied, This Maget(Cra) made 1943 MG42 (Maschinengewehr 42).
The GH marking was only used by Maget in 1943 and only produced an estimated of 60,000 MG42’s in 1943.
The mg42 is marked with WaA (Nazi acceptance stamps) WaA147 & WaA11.
Topcover, – WaA 147, indicates : bpr, J. Grossfuss Döbeln (Sn), made in 1942.
Buffer latch (stock) – WaA 147 indicates : bpr, J. Grossfuss Döbeln (Sn), made in 1942..
Receiver – WaA 11, cra, Maget Tegel (Be) 1942 till 1945.

The EU regulation 2015/2403 came about as a result of the attacks in Paris. The regulation applies throughout Europe. In all EU countries, weapons must be disarmed in the manner described in the EU regulation. The disarmed weapons then no longer have to be seen as firearms. The weapons must be provided with a certificate from 1 of the controlling authorities from 1 of the EU countries. They must also be marked by stamped stamps showing the deactivation.
