German WW2 Drinking Water Container “TrinkWasser”

Here we have an original example of a WWII German Wehrmacht 5 Liter tropical drinking water (Trink-Wasser) container. Paint is original as has an intact lid with gasket seal, hinge and latch hardware. The inside of the can is very clean, produced by Rilter Aluminium with a maker’s mark. Some wear to the paint but no dents or cracks in the aluminum. Holds drinking water with no leaks.
