French WW1 Military Cross (Croix De Guerre)

Here we have The Croix de Guerre which was established in April 1915 by the French government to recognize French and allied soldiers who were cited for bravery during their service in World War I or World War 2. This is however a WW2 version, medal has some placement holes in the ribbon which concludes that this medal once had the bronze palm attachment (signifies the awardee was mentioned in dispatches at the army level).
