Here we have a WW2 U.S M1 Garand (short version 10”) Bayonet, After testing in early 1943, the U.S. Army decided to shorten the M1905 bayonet’s blade to 10 inches (25.4 cm). Production of this new bayonet, designated the M1, began at the five remaining manufacturers by April 1943. Bayonet is produced by AFH (Union Fork and Hoe Co.) Scabberd is the M3 made of resin-impregnated cotton duck canvas with a metal throat, and was equipped with a wire hook hanger.

This 1943 manufactured Bayonet is complete with its scabberd and belt hook. Scabberd has lost some of its green paint but is a nice WW2 example! General condition is good+.
